Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. Last Pizza/Cookie Day – Today is our last pizza/cookie day of the year.  Remember to send a full lunch with your child next Thursday on the last day of school.

2. Me to We – 5 Days of Canada – The Me to We Club is happy to share that we raised over $2600.00 during our 5 Days of Canada Fundraiser!  Way to go Williamsburg!  Money raised is being split between technology for our school and the Canadian Red Cross for Refugees. We truly are better together.

3. Primary Play Day – June 27th for Grades 1, 2, 3 – Here is some important information for our upcoming Primary Play Day:

– If it’s raining the event will be cancelled
– Apply sunscreen before your child comes to school
– Wear a hat, cool and comfortable clothing and sunglasses
– Wear running shoes, no sandals or flip-flops
– Send along a water-bottle labelled with your child’s first and last name
– Send along a change of clothes in your child’s backpack in case they get wet or dirty while playing.

6. Upcoming June Dates to Note:

– June 22 – Last Pizza/Cookie Day of the Year
– June 22 – Gr. 6 Parent Info Night at Queensmount SR. P.S. – 6:30-7:30 pm
– June 26 – Report Cards Go Home
– June 27 – Primary Play Day
– June 28 – Grade 6 Celebration – 9:15 – 11:00 am
– June 29 – Students Dress Up/Staff Dress Down Spirit Day and Last Day of School

7. Upcoming September Dates to Note:

– September 1 – Class lists posted on school windows at 4:00 pm
– September 5 – First Day of School
– September 7 – Meet the Teacher Night
– September 21 – 10th Anniversary Celebrations
