Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. Upcoming Dates to Note:

– December 10 – Today is the last day to order Pizza/Cookie Orders for Jan/Feb
– December 10 – Festive Photos with Flare
– December 7 to 11 – Food Drive
– December 15 – Hat Day – Wear any type of hat: Winter, Sports, Santa, Antlers – you name it!
– December 16 – Progress Reports for Grades 1 to 6 go home
– December 18 – Last Day of School before the Seasonal Holiday
– January 4 – First Day Back to School after the Holiday

2. Pizza/Cookie Orders for January/February due by Thursday, December 10th

Today is the final day to order Pizza/Cookies for January 7, 14, 21, 28 and February 4 on School-Day.  No late orders will be accepted.  Any outstanding cash payments are due by 4:00pm today.  See the How-To-Order Guide below for step by step instructions for ordering.

3. Festive Photos with Flare

To continue with our fundraising for the TLC Foundation, we are taking Festive Photos with our school mascot.  In order for students to have their picture taken, they simply need to bring a monetary donation towards this great cause. Students can have their picture taken today. Bring a donation and strike a pose with Flare. Thanks so much for your generous support!

4. Food Drive December 7 to 11

Please help the food bank of Waterloo Region provide meals to the 1 in 20 households in our Region that need help to feed their families.  We are accepting non-perishable food items from December 7 to 11.  The food bank especially needs canned meat and fish, peanut butter, stew, chili, beans and Macaroni and cheese.  Thank you for supporting this worthy cause.  Donations can be sent to school with your child or dropped off at the school office.

5. Thanks for your generous support!

Because of your donations of Canadian Tire money, we have over $280.00 to give to the TLC foundation.  This has been our best year yet for this cause.

~ How-To-Order Guide for Pizza/Cookies:

– Log-in to School-Day (https://www.school-day.com/ )
– Underneath My Dashboard, you will see 5 tabs, click  the Products tab to see all the Pizza and Cookie products that are available to order in this ordering period
– Order Pizza and/or Cookies as you wish adding the items to your cart. (Note that orders must be placed for each week and product separately.   There will be 10 products to choose from in this 5 week ordering period)
– Be sure to order for each of your children by choosing the child’s name from the drop-down box for each week
– When you are ready to complete your order, click My Cart
– Click Check Out to pay on-line and complete the payment process
-If you prefer to pay by cash, click Will Pay By Cash.  Print receipt or make note of the Order Number and send to school with your payment by the order deadline date.  Your order is not complete until payment is received at school
