PLEASE CLICK THE BLUE TITLE ABOVE TO VIEW THE FULL ARTICLE – Today, your children will be coming home with a Move-A-Thon Fundraising Pledge Sheet and Envelope.
This fundraising event will help support purchasing outdoor play equipment for our students and additional playground/greening enhancements.
FAMILIES, HERE IS WHAT TO DO:
- Between Friday, March 6th and Friday, March 13th find sponsors who will make a donation for our school’s MOVE-A-THON Event which is on Friday, March 13th for Grades 1 to 6. (Kindergarten Classes will have Move-A-Thon time on Thursday, March 12th.)
- Families will collect money and check off that they have received the money in the last column, add the sponsor’s name, address and donation amount to the Donation Sheet.
- Cheques should be made payable to Williamsburg P.S.
- Do not go door to door, just ask friends and family!
- If you would like to make a donation of more than $15.00 and receive a tax receipt, please make your cheque payable to WATERLOO EDUCATION FOUNDATION and include your address.
- Return the pledge sheet and donations to the classroom on or before Friday, March 13th.
- We have many,many exciting draw prizes for students to enter who raise $10 or more. Some of our prizes include: cupcake decorating, a special craft activity, throw a pie in a teacher’s face, homemade pizza party and Principal for the Day.
