NEW CONVENIENT KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR CHILDREN BORN IN 2011 AND 2012:

  1. Check the catchment area to ensure that your child can attend Williamsburg Public School as you must reside within our school’s boundaries to attend.  You can do this by going to www.stswr.ca and clicking on the link titled, “What school do I attend?” Enter your address.
  2. Registration starts ON-LINE January 22 at http://www.wrdsb.ca/register/ Complete the on-line registration form. (The registration form is also available online for you to download, print and bring along with you to the school.)
  3. Go to the Region of Waterloo web-site and add your child’s immunization records –  https://e-immunization.regionofwaterloo.ca/.  You may also call the Region of Waterloo at 519-575-4400 x 13009 and to submit your child’s immunization records.
  4. Once you have completed the on-line registration or have printed and completed a paper copy, you will be required to come into the school with your child’s documentation (proof of birth) to be copied by office staff, as well as to show proof of address (Eg. utility bill with your name on it). Our Office is open from 8:30am-3:45pm Monday-Friday and we request that you come in to finalize your child’s registration as soon as possible. It is not necessary for your child to come to the school when submitting your registration paperwork.
  5. Plan to join us for our  Parent and Child Kindergarten Information Evening on Wednesday May, 11th from 6:30-7:30pm where we  look forward to officially welcoming you to Williamsburg P.S.

Special Notes:

  • If your child currently attends Williamsburg Public School in JK, there is no need to register for SK, as this happens automatically at the school level.
  • If your child attended another WRDSB school for JK and you are moving into our school boundaries for September, you must come to Williamsburg Public School to complete a hard copy registration form.
