1. Upcoming Dates to Note:

April 12 – Internet Safety – Parent Info Night – 6:30pm at Williamsburg
(Please RSVP to laurie_starra@wrdsb.on.ca if you plan on attending.)
April 14 to 21 – Pizza/Cookie Orders for April/May Open on School-Day
April 19 and 20 – Spring Concerts – Schedule listed below
April 20, 21 and 22 – Scholastic Book Fair
April 22 – PA Day – no school for students

 

2. Move-A-Thon

Our school Move-A-Thon fundraiser was an enormous success!  School Council raised an amazing $8000 that will go towards school playground improvements and field trips.  We want to say a big thank you to our generous Williamsburg community!

 

3. Spring Concert Schedule

Williamsburg is having a school concert on April 19th and 20th Please check below to see when your child’s class is performing.  All parents are invited to attend! The Concert will begin at 9:15am and will be approximately an hour and a half in length. Out of respect for the final performances on the program, we are hoping parents will stay for the entire performance.

***Kindergarten Classes will perform on Wednesday, April 20th from 2:30-3:20pm

4. Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Williamsburg in a few short weeks! Please join us for this annual event and watch our library transform into a traveling bookstore! Mark these dates on your calendar, April 20 & 21, 2016 8:30am – 4:00pm and April 22, 2016 8:30am – 2:00pm.

Volunteers will be needed, so stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks. Hope to see you all at the Book Fair. I guarantee you’ll have a monstrously good time! …… Mrs. Branje, Library Clerk
