2. Bake Sale

This year the ME to WE Club has taken a more community based focus in our projects and fundraising.  We will once again hold our 3rd Annual Bake Sale on Friday, May 6th with all proceeds being donated to the May Court Club of Kitchener-Waterloo.  For more information on this local organization please visit their website at http://www.maycourtclubofkw.org. Our Bake Sale will offer NUT-FREE baked goods for sale, as well as a Cake Raffle.  Our ME to WE Club students have also been busy making bookmarks, charms and other items that will also be sold that day.  To ensure that this event is a success, we are asking our Williamsburg families to consider donating NUT-FREEbaked goods for our sale, or a cake for our raffle.  If you are able to contribute, please sign and return the form below.  We ask that baked good donations be sent to the school with your child on May 5th or before 9:00am on May 6th.  All proceeds will go directly to the May Court Club of Kitchener-Waterloo.

We are looking for parent volunteers to help us out with the Bake Sale on Friday May 6th at the following times:

  • 8:30-9:30
  • 9:30-11:00
  • 11:30-12:30
  • 12:30-1:10
  • 1:45-2:45
  • 2:45-3:45

If you would like to volunteer, please send an email to Laurie Starra (laurie_starra@wrdsb.on.ca) and make note of which time slot you are available to help out.

Once again, thank you to all of our families for your continued support. Together WE are the change!

3. Kindergarten Information Night for New Kindergarten Students and Parents

New Kindergarten students and parents are welcome to join us for an Info Night on Tuesday, May 11th from 6:30 to 7:30pm at Williamsburg to learn more about our school. Siblings are not invited to this event.

4. Used Book Sale

School Council is accepting gently used book/CD/DVD donations starting today Thursday, April 28th to be sold at our first Used Book Sale on May 13th and 14th.  The class that collects the most books will win a pizza party.  Parents may also bring donations to the office beginning today.

The money raised through this sale will go towards school yard improvements and other items like class trips, planners and more!

5. Our Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success!
