Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. Jump to Pump – June 10th 
Tomorrow, our Williamsburg students will be jumping rope in gym class to promote healthy living.  We encourage students to bring a toonie ($2) to school that day.  All proceeds will go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

2. Library Update
Dear Parents/Guardians,
This is a friendly reminder to help your child(ren) remember to have all their library books back to school by tomorrow Friday, June 10th.

I’d like to take this time to thank you all for a wonderful year in the library. Your child(ren) enjoyed regular visits to the library as well as participating in many different reading programs. Thank you parents for helping to foster a love of reading in your child(ren). I encourage everyone to take advantage of the many programs that are offered at Kitchener Public Library over the summer. 3. Showcase of Excellence
Our annual Showcase of Excellence is happening on Tuesday, June 14th between 3:20 and 4:20pm. This is an opportunity for all of our students to “show off” their excellent work.  All classes will have work posted in the hallways throughout the school.  Please join us to see all the wonderful things your child has been up to!

4. Lost and Found Is Overflowing
Be sure to stop in and take a look through our Lost and Found.  Stop by when you are here for the Showcase of Excellence. It is full of winter clothing items, hoodies, jackets, shoes etc.  We’d love for these items to find their way back home!

5. New JK/SK Kindergarten Letters
Letters for kindergarten class placement for September 2016 are being sent out this week.  Please contact the office if you have not received your letter by June 17th.
