As part of the Language Arts and Arts curriculum, the entire student body of Williamsburg Public School will be attending the St. Jacob’s Country Playhouse to see ‘Cinderella’.

The enduring fairy tale gets a clever and contemporary makeover in this glittering stage production that features all the classic elements you remember – the pumpkin, glass slipper, masked ball … plus some unexpected and surprising new twists!

With its winning combination of incredible musical numbers, fun-filled comedy, double entendres, outrageous costumes, and audience participation, Cinderella will cast its magical spell on everyone from the age of 3 to 103.

The students from Williamsburg will attend ‘Cinderella’ on three separate dates: November 17th, December 6th and December 13th. More information will follow regarding the theatre dates for each class.  Permission and payment will be sent out using School-Day ~ please stay tuned for more details!

The cost of the trip is $15.00 per student. This includes both the theatre ticket and transportation. We are grateful for the generosity of the Williamsburg Parent Council and their donation that has significantly reduced the cost of this trip.

We will be travelling by bus, departing in the morning and returning in the afternoon. Parent volunteers will be both necessary and welcome for this trip. We are asking that parents meet us at the theatre due to limited seating on the bus. The cost for volunteers is $15.00.

Please note that this is a theatre trip which is based on reserved seats for our school. Therefore, refunds will not be issued if students and/or volunteers are unable to attend.

Thank you for your support in this exciting theatre opportunity.

Sincerely,

The Williamsburg Staff
