Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. Pizza/Cookie Orders for NOVEMBER due by Thursday, October 27th   

Our next round of Pizza/Cookie orders for November is now open on School-Day.  This ordering period covers the weeks of November 3, 10, 17 & 24 and will be taken on School-Day ONLY from today until Thursday, October 27th. Be sure to click Products at the top of your School-Day Dashboard in order to access all the weeks in this ordering period. No late orders will be accepted.  See the How-To-Order Guide below for step by step instructions for ordering.  Call the school office if you have any questions – 519-742-1848.

2. Upcoming Dates to Note

– October 20 – 24 – Pumpkin Voting at Sobey’s (see note below)
– October 20 – 27 – November Pizza/Cookie Orders Open on School-Day
– October 24 – School Council Meeting at 6:30 pm in the Library
– October 27 – Photo Re-take Day
– October 31 – Dress like a book character or wear black and orange
– November 5 – Time Change – Clocks go back one hour on Saturday night
– November 14 – Progress Reports Go Home

3. Students Leaving School Early: 
Parents, when your child needs to leave the school early for an appointment or because they are sick, it is very important for you to come into the office to sign them out.  We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

4. Sobey’s – Williamsburg Pumpkin Contest
Be sure to stop in at Sobey’s and vote for your favourite class pumpkin!  The class/pumpkin that gets the most votes will win a class pizza party.  Voting takes place between October 20th and 24th!

5. October 31 – Spirit Day
On October 31st, Williamsburg staff and students can wear a book character costume or can come dressed in black and orange to show their Williamsburg school spirit.

– Log-in to School-Day (https://www.school-day.com/ )
– Click Products at the top of your Dashboard to see all the Pizza and Cookie products that are available to order in this ordering period
-Order Pizza and/or Cookies as you wish adding the items to your cart. (Note that orders must be placed for each week and product separately.   There will be 8 products to choose from in this 4 week ordering period)
– Be sure to order for each of your children by choosing the child’s name from the drop-down box for each week
– When you are ready to complete your order, click My Cart
– Click Check Out to pay on-line and complete the payment process
– If you prefer to pay by cash, click Will Pay By Cash.  Print receipt or make note of the Order Number and send to school with your payment by the order deadline date.  Your order is not complete until payment is received at school
