Hello Parents,
Here are this week’s updates:
1. PD Day – November 18th – Friday, November 18th is a PD Day which means no school for students.
2. December Pizza/Cookie Orders – Due November 24th
Pizza/Cookie orders for December are now open on School-Day. This ordering period covers the weeks of December 1, 8, 15 and 22 and will be taken on School-Day ONLY from today until Thursday, November 24th. Be sure to click Products at the top of your School-Day Dashboard in order to access all the weeks in this ordering period. No late orders will be accepted. See the How-To-Order Guide at the end of this note for step by step instructions for ordering. Call the school office if you have any questions – 519-742-1848.
3. Lost and Found
Please label all clothing items that can be removed at school so they can be returned if they find their way into the lost and found. Be sure to take a look through the lost and found if you are here for Parent Teacher meetings today or tomorrow. We have lots of hats, hoodies and mittens already! THANK YOU!
4. School Council Poinsettia Fundraiser – November 14 – 28

The money generated through this fundraiser will go towards items like school yard enhancements, planners, field trips and more!
5. Photo Orders Due November 23rd – Remember to send in photo orders OR to complete an on-line order by November 23rd. Go to https://www.edgeimaging.ca/en/ for more info.
6. Scholastic Book Fair – Coming in December
Please take note of the dates for our upcoming annual Scholastic Book Fair. It will be taking place on Wed., Dec 14th to Fri., Dec. 16th, 2016 in the library. Please mark this exciting literary event on your calendars. This is a great opportunity to shop for the holidays while promoting reading and raising money for our school library. More information will be coming in the near future, as well as volunteer opportunities for parents and high school students around the time of the book fair. ~ How-To-Order Guide for Pizza/Cookies:
– Log-in to School-Day (https://www.school-day.com/ )
– Click Products at the top of your Dashboard to see all the Pizza and Cookie products that are available to order in this ordering period
-Order Pizza and/or Cookies as you wish adding the items to your cart. (Note that orders must be placed for each week and product separately. There will be 8 products to choose from in this 4 week ordering period)
– Be sure to order for each of your children by choosing the child’s name from the drop-down box for each week
– When you are ready to complete your order, click My Cart
– Click Check Out to pay on-line and complete the payment process
– If you prefer to pay by cash, click Will Pay By Cash. Print receipt or make note of the Order Number and send to school with your payment by the order deadline date. Your order is not complete until payment is received at school
