Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. December Pizza/Cookie Orders – Due Today:

Pizza/Cookie orders for each Thursday in December are due by today (November 24th) on School-Day. No late orders will be accepted.  Also a reminder that any cash payments must be submitted to the office by 3:30 today.  Unpaid orders cannot be processed.  Be sure to click the Products tab at the top of the page in order to access all the weeks in this ordering period.  See the How to Guide at the end of this note for step by step instructions. You are welcome to call the school office if you have any questions – 519-742-1848.

2. Twin Day – Tomorrow is Twin Day at Williamsburg.  Dress like a friend or several friends to show your Williamsburg school spirit.

3. School Council Poinsettia Fundraiser – Due Monday:Poinsettia Orders are due back to school by Monday, November 28th. (Late orders cannot be accepted.)

Mark your calendars for the Poinsettia Order Pick-up Dates listed below.  Poinsettias can be picked up on the following days at Williamsburg P.S. (Enter through doors by gym):

– December 7th – 3:20 pm to 6:00 pm
– December 8th – 8:45 am to 6:00 pm

 

4. Paws Off 

We know that many of you like to combine your morning dog walk with walking your children to school as well as meet your child at the end of the day.  With over 700 children on our playground it can become quite a busy place. This can cause some stress for dogs. Also, some of our children are fearful of dogs. Unfortunately, due to a number of reported safety concerns about dogs around children (including anxiety for some children) we must ask that you leave all pets at home for the walk to and from school. We appreciate your attention to this matter. We ask that you kindly respect the safety and well-being of our children.

– December 7 and 8 – Poinsettia Pick-up Dates
– December 8 to 15 – January Pizza/Cookie Orders Open on School-Day
– December 13 – Cinderella Trip (Rms: 8, 11, 14, 25, 26, 34, 21, 14, 19, 28, 11, P1)
– December 14 – 16 – Scholastic Book Fair

 

~ How-To-Order Guide for Pizza/Cookies:

– Log-in to School-Day (https://www.school-day.com/ )
– Click Products at the top of your Dashboard to see all the Pizza and Cookie products that are available to order in this ordering period
-Order Pizza and/or Cookies as you wish adding the items to your cart. (Note that orders must be placed for each week and product separately.   There will be 8 products to choose from in this 4 week ordering period)
– Be sure to order for each of your children by choosing the child’s name from the drop-down box for each week
– When you are ready to complete your order, click My Cart
– Click Check Out to pay on-line and complete the payment process
– If you prefer to pay by cash, click Will Pay By Cash.  Print receipt or make note of the Order Number and send to school with your payment by the order deadline date.  Your order is not complete until payment is received at school
