Hello Parents,
Here are this week’s updates:
1. Last Call for June Pizza/Cookie Orders – Due TODAY – Pizza/Cookie orders for the month of June are due TODAY (May 25th on School-Day. No late orders will be accepted. This ordering period covers the weeks of June 1, 8, 15, and 22. Any cash payments are due in exact change by 3:20 pm today. See the How-To-Order Guide at the end of this note for step by step instructions for ordering. Call the school office if you have any questions – 519-742-1848.
*** Special Note: We will NOT be ordering pizza/cookies for the last day of school on Thursday, June 29, 2017. Please mark your calendars and plan to send a full lunch to school with your child on the last day of school.
2. School Council Meeting – Our next School Council meeting is on Monday, May 29th at 6:30 pm in the school library. Go to https://wlm.wrdsb.ca/school-council/school-council-agendas-and-minutes/ to see previous meeting agendas and minutes. We would love for you to join us!
3. Lost and Found – Be sure to stop in and take a look through our Lost and Found. It is full of winter clothing items, hoodies, jackets, shoes etc. We’d love for these items to find their way back home!
4. Before and After School Programs – The Waterloo Region District School Board is pleased to confirm that Williamsburg P.S. will be offering both the Before and After School Programs during the 2017-2018 school year. This program is operated by the YMCA. The YMCA will be contacting families who have registered regarding next steps and scheduling details.
Families who were not able to indicate their interest for the Before and After School Program during the registration timeframe, will now have the opportunity to register by visiting “OneList Waterloo Region” for specific contact information – https://regionofwaterloo.onehsn.com/ (Click on first tab-Waterloo Region Licensed Child Care).
If you require before and after school care, please register by Tuesday August 22nd, 2017 to ensure your child[ren] can begin in the program on the first day of school, September 5th, 2017.

– September 21 – 10th Anniversary Celebrations

How-to Order Pizza/Cookies
– Log-in to School-Day – www.school-day.com
– Click Products at the top of the page
– Click June – Pizza Orders
– From here you are now able to select each of the available dates using the drop down box listed beside the word Dates
– Be sure to select each Date that you wish each child to have pizza using the drop down arrow within this Product as well as which Topping and make note of how many slices of pizza you want for each given week. Then click add to cart and go back to the Date drop down box to select the next week that you wish to order
– Remember to use the drop down box for each of your children as well if you have more than one child that you are ordering for
– This ordering period covers 4 Thursdays including June 1, 8, 15 and 22. (Pizza/cookies will NOT be available on Thursday, June 29th.)
– If you wish to order cookies as well, go back to the products tab and Click on June – Cookie Orders and follow the same process as listed above to order cookies
– Once you have added all your items, click the cart in the top right corner of your screen to view all your selected items. Take a moment to review your order and make sure that your selections are correct. Then click Check Out to pay on-line or click Will Pay By Cash if you prefer to pay with cash. (For cash orders, send in the order number and the EXACT cash amount to school with your child by the order deadline – May 25, 2017 . Late orders cannot be accepted.)
