Here are this week’s updates:
1. Upcoming Dates to Note:
– September 14 and 15 – Pre-Sale for Fun Fair Wristbands from 3:30 to 4:30 pm inside the front doors of the school – see details below
– September 21 – 10th Anniversary Open House from 3:45 to 4:45 pm followed by the Fun Fair and Food Trucks from 5:00 to 7:00 pm
– September 21 – 28 – October Pizza/Cookie Orders Open on School-Day
– September 22 – PA Day – No School for Students
– September 25 – First School Council Meeting (6:30pm in the Library)
– September 28 – Picture Day for Kindergarten Students and Room 10
– September 28 – Terry Fox Run
– September 29 – Picture Day for Grades 1 to 6 Students
2. Pre-Sale on Wristbands for our 10th Anniversary Fun Fair: Beat the line up on the night of our Fun Fair and get your wristbands ahead of time on Thursday, September 14th or Friday, September 15th from 3:30 to 4:30 pm inside the front doors of the school. Wristbands are selling for $10 per child (CASH ONLY) and will give children access to the games and activities happening at our 10th Anniversary Fun Fair on September 21st. It will also include cotton candy, a lollipop and a Flare temporary tattoo! Game winners wilI receive tickets for a chance to win one of 3 gift baskets or a Williamsburg water bottle. 3. Pizza/Cookies for the Month of October: Pizza/Cookie Day is held every Thursday at 1st Nutrition Break from October through June. All orders for October must be placed on School-Day from September 21st to 28th. This is a great time to be sure that you are signed up on School-Day and have added all the students in your family that attend Williamsburg. Please call the school office if you need help getting registered (519-742-1848). More details about Pizza/Cookies to follow next week.
4. Safety Drills: Please note that we will be conducting our mandatory safety drills over the next few weeks. These include: 3 Fire Drills, a Lockdown Drill and a Tornado Drill. Feel free to talk with your children about these upcoming practice drills.
