Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. Last Call for NOVEMBER Pizza/Cookie Orders – Pizza/Cookie orders for each Thursday in November are due by today on School-Day. No late orders will be accepted.  Also a reminder that any cash payments must be submitted in EXACT cash to the office by 3:30 today.  Unpaid orders cannot be processed.  See the How to Guide at the end of this note for step by step instructions. You are welcome to call the school office if you have any questions – 519-742-1848.

2. Pumpkin Patrol – The WRDSB Pumpkin Patrol will be back on our streets.  Once again this year, the Pumpkin Patrol will be patrolling your school and community on the evenings of Saturday, October 28, Sunday, October 29, Monday, October 30 and Tuesday, October 31, 2017.

During these 4 nights, the Pumpkin Patrol will randomly visit the WRDSB facilities as well as be a watchful eye for any problems that may occur while the children are out “trick-or-treating.”

Staff has experienced a reduction in vandalism at Board facilities as a result of this program.  The program acts as a deterrent in decreasing the amount of activities, damage to the schools and helps ensure safety to our children who may be out on these fun filled evenings.

3. Random Act of Kindness Day – November 3rd is Random Act of Kindness Day.  Students and their families are encouraged to find ways to be kind to others.

  • November 4 – Time Change – Clocks go back one hour on Saturday night
  • November 10 – Wear Red for Remembrance Day
  • November 13 – Progress Reports Go Home
  • November 14 – 16 – Book Fair
  • November 20/21 – Vision and Hearing Screening for Kindergarten students
  • November 20 – School Council Meeting at 6:30 pm in the Library

  • Click Products at the top of your Dashboard to see the November Pizza and Cookie Orders.
  • Order Pizza and/or Cookies as you wish adding the items to your cart. Use the drop-down boxes to select the child, week and topping you wish to order. When you are ready to complete your order, click My Cart
  • Click Check Out to pay on-line and complete the payment process
  • If you prefer to pay by cash, click Will Pay By Cash.  Print receipt or make note of the Order Number and send to school with your payment by the order deadline date.  Your order is not complete until payment is received at school
