Did your kids outgrow last year’s winter clothes and you still have it kicking around the house? Did you know that there are schools in our district that can use donated, good condition winter clothes to give to kids/families that are otherwise unable to provide winter clothing to keep kids warm this winter?
Here’s how we at Williamsburg Public School can help:
If you have good condition winter gear (hats, mitts, boots, snow pants, coats) that your child has out grown please bring them in to the school on November 27 and 28 during the Wintergreen Fundraiser Pick-up. If you are not picking up a wintergreen order, winter gear can be dropped off at the office on November 27 and 28. They will then be taken to a local school that will put them to good use keeping kids and families warm this winter.
Donation items: Kids winter wear of all sizes including; hats, mitts, boots, snow pants and coats AND Adult winter wear (Some of the grade 6-8 students are in adult sizes including: hats, mitts, boots, snow pants and coats).
** Please note: this is not a request to go buy extra things but instead to find a good home for items your family no longer needs. All donations will be given to a local school that has a number of students in need of warm winter wear.
