1. Upcoming Dates to Note

2. Superhero Spirit Day – Show off your super powers! On Wednesday, December 6th dress as your favourite superhero or be creative and create your own!

3. French Program Information Nights for Parents of Senior Kindergarten Students – The Waterloo Region District School Board offers two French programs, both beginning in grade one. (https://www.wrdsb.ca/french )

Information regarding the Core French Program and the grade one French Immersion Program was sent home last week.  Both programs are designed to meet the needs of your child.  Please take the time to read this brochure carefully before making your choice.

In order to provide parents/guardians with information about the French Immersion Program, the following information sessions have been scheduled at the WRDSB Board Office at 51 Ardelt Avenue, Kitchener:

  • Friday, December 1st – 12:00 noon
  • Monday, December 4th at 12:00 noon
  • Monday, December 4th at 7:00 pm

Mark your calendars – The French Immersion Registration process will begin on Monday, January 10, 2018 on the Waterloo Region District School Board website at www.wrdsb.ca.

4. Holiday Concerts – Grades 1 to 6 Classes – Mark your calendars for our holiday concerts that are coming up on December 20th and 21st for our Grades 1 to 6 classes.   The concerts will begin at 12:00 noon.  See list below for which date each class is performing.  Note: the performance order is not set yet; the lists below simply tell you which day your child’s class is performing.

5. Holiday Concert – Kindergarten Classes – The Williamsburg Kindergarten Classes are holding their Holiday Concert on Thursday, December 21st starting at 9:20 am.  Mark your calendars!

– Provide us with your email address – The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) continues to be compliant with Canada’s anti-spam legislation, which prohibits the sending of unsolicited email messages without consent. We would like to have the option of communicating with you through email, so please sign up at secure.wrdsb.ca/subscribe. You will need to know your child’s Ontario Education Number (OEN). The OEN number can be obtained from your child’s report card. If your child is new to Kindergarten and you do not know their OEN number, information will be sent shortly by the school, once a number has been assigned. Please note: If you gave us your email address last year, there is no need for you to provide it again.

– Williamsburg Website – Keep Up to Date – Follow any new posts that get added to the Williamsburg website by going to http://wlm.wrdsb.ca/, scroll to the bottom of the page and add your email address in the box under “Get News From This Website” and click Submit
