Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. PD Day – Friday, January 26th – No school for students

2. February Pizza/Cookie Orders Due TODAY – Thursday, January 25th

Last call for Pizza/Cookie orders for the following weeks: February 1, 8, 15 and 22. Late orders cannot be accepted.  Also a reminder that any cash payments must be submitted to the office by 3:30 today. See the How-To-Order Guide below for step by step instructions for ordering.  Call the school office if you have any questions or want to get registered on School-Day – 519-742-1848.

3. Kindergarten Registration for Children Born in 2013 and 2014 is Open Now – If you have a child that will be starting school in September 2018, it is time to get him/her signed up at a WRDSB school.  Follow this link to see all the steps for registration: https://wlm.wrdsb.ca/2018/01/16/kindergarten-registration-for-children-born-in-2013-and-2014/

Once you have completed the on-line registration form you will be required to come into the Williamsburg Office during the week of February 5th to 9th between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm with the following documentation:

  • Proof of Birth (eg. Birth certificate, passport)
  • Proof of address (eg. A utility bill with your name on it)

4. Upcoming Dates to Note:

  • January 25 – February Pizza/Cookie Orders Due Today (No late orders)
  • January 26 – PD Day
  • January 31 – Last Day for SK Families to Register for French Immersion
  • February 5 – 9 – Documentation Visit for New Kindergarten Parents
  • February 9 – Canada Spirit Day to celebrate the Opening of the Olympics
  • February 14 – Pink, Red and White Day

~ How-To-Order Guide for Pizza/Cookies:

  • Log-in to School-Day – https://www.school-day.com/
  • Click Products at the top of your Dashboard, then click February –  Pizza Orders.
  • Select each DATE that you wish each child to have pizza using the drop down arrow within this Product and make note of how many slices of pizza and the topping you want for each given week. This ordering period covers 4 Thursdays including February 1, 8, 15 and 22.
  • Click add to cart
  • Select the next week from the drop down box
  • Use the drop down box for each of your children as well if you have more than one child that you are ordering for
  • If you wish to order cookies as well, go back to the products tab and Click on February – Cookie Orders and follow the same process as listed above to order pizza
  • Once you have added all your items, click the cart in the the top right corner of your screen to view all your selected items. Take a moment to review your order and make sure that your selections are correct.
  • Click Check Out to pay on-line or click Will Pay By Cash if you prefer to pay with cash. (For cash orders, send in the order number and the EXACT cash amount to school with your child by the order deadline – January 25th. Late orders cannot be accepted.)
  • NOTE: If your child is absent on pizza day, they will miss their order that day. The pizza and cookies will not be saved or re-distributed to friends or siblings.
