Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. March Pizza and Cookie Orders Due TODAY – Last call for Pizza/Cookie orders for the following weeks: March 1, 8, 22 and 29. Late orders cannot be accepted.  Also a reminder that any cash payments must be submitted to the office by 3:30 today. See the How-To-Order Guide below for step by step instructions for ordering.  Call the school office if you have any questions or want to get registered on School-Day – 519-742-1848.

2. Attendance and Late Arrival – A friendly reminder that students must sign in at the office if they arrive anytime after 9:00 am.  Parents, please do not take students directly to class if they are arriving late to school.

3. Lost and Found – Please encourage your children to check the Lost and Found at school.  It is full of coats, hoodies, hats, mitts etc. Any items that have not been claimed by the Friday before March Break will be donated. Thanks!

4. School Council Move-a-thon Fundraiser – School Council is holding their annual Move-a-thon on Friday, March 9th.  Students will be receiving pledge form packages next week so they can collect donations for this great event. For every $5 of donations, students will receive a draw ticket that they can enter to try and win some great prizes The funds raised from the Move-a-thon will be put towards things such as: new technology, school-yard improvements and class trips.  Classes will all have a chance to go to the gym on March 9th to show off their great moves. Watch for more details coming soon!

5. Mark Your Calendars – We are hosting “Family Math Night” on March 22nd from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.  We hope you will plan to come out as a family for a great night of games and fun.

  • March 7 – Blue and Green Day at Williamsburg

~ How-To-Order Guide for Pizza/Cookies:

  • Log-in to School-Day – https://www.school-day.com/
  • Click Products at the top of your Dashboard, then click March – Pizza Orders.
  • Select each DATE that you wish each child to have pizza using the drop down arrow within this Product and make note of how many slices of pizza and the topping you want for each given week. This ordering period covers 4 Thursdays including March 1, 8, 22 and 29.
  • Click add to cart
  • Select the next week from the drop down box
  • Use the drop down box for each of your children as well if you have more than one child that you are ordering for
  • If you wish to order cookies as well, go back to the products tab and Click on March – Cookie Orders and follow the same process as listed above to order pizza
  • Once you have added all your items, click the cart in the the top right corner of your screen to view all your selected items. Take a moment to review your order and make sure that your selections are correct.
  • Click Check Out to pay on-line or click Will Pay By Cash if you prefer to pay with cash. (For cash orders, send in the order number and the EXACT cash amount to school with your child by the order deadline – February 22nd. Late orders cannot be accepted.)
  • NOTE: If your child is absent on pizza day, they will miss their order that day. The pizza and cookies will not be saved or re-distributed to friends or siblings.
