Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. Move-a-thon – All pledge forms and envelopes are due back to school today (March 8th) for the Move-a-thon.  Each of our classes will be participating in the Move-a-thon on Friday in the gym.  We so appreciate your support in this School Council Fundraiser.  Stay tuned for our grand total coming soon.

2. Beach Day – March 9th – Friday is Beach Day at Williamsburg!  Wear your bright colours and your beach accessories to school.

3. Spring Ahead – Time Change! – Remember to move your clocks ahead by 1 hour at bedtime on Saturday, March 10th

4. Attendance – There are now 2 ways to leave us an attendance message at Williamsburg: 1.Call the Attendance Line – 519-742-1848 x 1 or 2. Email the Attendance Line – wlm-attendance@wrdsb.ca  . When you are calling or emailing, be sure to make note of the name of your child, your relationship to the child, the reason for the absence and the child’s teacher or room number.  Please update us anytime your child will be late or absent.  The Attendance Line via phone or email is available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

5. Are You Moving or Do You Have New Neighbours? – Please be sure to inform the school office if you are moving anytime in the next few months or over the summer.  We are making plans for the new school year and want to keep track of where all of our students will be.

Also, be sure to let any new neighbours know that we want them to register now at Williamsburg so we can include them in our classes.

All of our students must live within the Williamsburg school boundaries.  Contact us at 519-742-1848 ext. 3 if you have any questions.

6. Lost and Found – LAST CALL! – Please encourage your children to check the Lost and Found at school.  It is full of coats, hoodies, hats, mitts etc. Any items that have not been claimed by the Friday before March Break will be donated. Thanks!
