Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. Victoria Day Holiday – A reminder that Monday, May 21st is the Victoria Day Holiday and schools will be closed that day.  Have a great long weekend!

2. June Pizza/Cookie Orders – Our last Pizza/Cookie order for this school year is open now on School-Day!  This ordering period covers the weeks of May 31, June 7, 14 and 21.  Orders will be taken on School-Day until Thursday, May 24th. No late orders will be accepted.  See the How-To-Order Guide at the end of this note for step by step instructions for ordering.  Call the school office if you have any questions – 519-742-1848.

*** Special Note: We will NOT be ordering pizza/cookies for the last day of school on Thursday, June 28, 2018. Please mark your calendars and plan to send a full lunch to school with your child on the last day of school.

3. Jump 2 Pump – On Friday, May 25, 2018 Williamsburg students will be taking part in our annual Jump 2 Pump event.  Everyone is being asked to bring in a toonie to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation. As caring community members, we want to do our part to support such a worthy cause and at the same time promote a healthy lifestyle.  Therefore, students will be jumping during physical education classes on our jump day. Thank you for your continued support!

4. Upcoming Dates to Note:

  • May 17 to 24 – June Pizza/Cookie Orders Open on School-Day
  • May 21 – Victoria Day Holiday
  • May 22 – Junior Track and Field Meet at University Stadium
  • May 23/24 – Kernels Orders Will Be Sent Home with Students
  • May 25 – Jump to Pump for Heart and Stroke
  • May 28 – School Council Meeting at 6:30 pm in the Library

~ How-To-Order Guide for Pizza/Cookies:

  • Log-in to School-Day – https://www.school-day.com/
  • Click Products at the top of your Dashboard, then click June 2018 – Pizza Orders.
  • Select each DATE that you wish each child to have pizza using the drop down arrow within this Product and make note of how many slices of pizza and the topping you want for each given week. This ordering period covers 4 Thursdays including May 31, June 7, 14 and 21
  • Click add to cart
  • Select the next week from the drop down box
  • Use the drop down box for each of your children as well if you have more than one child that you are ordering for
  • If you wish to order cookies as well, go back to the products tab and Click on June 2018 – Cookie Orders and follow the same process as listed above to order pizza
  • Once you have added all your items, click the cart in the the top right corner of your screen to view all your selected items. Take a moment to review your order and make sure that your selections are correct.
  • Click Check Out to pay on-line or click Will Pay By Cash if you prefer to pay with cash. (For cash orders, send in the order number and the EXACT cash amount to school with your child by the order deadline – May 24th. Late orders cannot be accepted.)
  • NOTE: If your child is absent on pizza day, they will miss their order that day. The pizza and cookies will not be saved or re-distributed to friends or siblings.
