Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. Final Call for Planner and Headphone Payments – Thank you to all the families who have purchased a planner and headphone set ($6) for each of your children. If you haven’t done so yet, please log on to School-Day and go to “Products” to purchase a planner and headphone set for your Grade 1 to 6 children. Thanks again to School Council for their contribution to the cost!

2. Pizza/Cookies for the Month of October – Pizza/Cookie Day is held every Thursday at 1st Nutrition Break from October through June. All orders for October must be placed on School-Day from September 20th to 27th. This is a great time to be sure that you are signed up on School-Day and have added all the students in your family that attend Williamsburg. Please call the school office if you need help getting registered (519-742-1848). More details about Pizza/Cookies to follow next week.

3. Safety Drills – Please note that we will be conducting our mandatory safety drills over the next few weeks. These include: 3 Fire Drills, a Lockdown Drill and a Tornado Drill. Feel free to talk with your children about these upcoming practice drills.

4. Junior Circuit/Climber – Please be reminded that the Junior Circuit is closed in the morning before school and after school until after 3:30 pm due to the need for direct supervision. Thank you for helping us to keep everyone safe!

5. Parking Lot – Please remember that our parking lot is for staff and visitors. For safety reasons, students are not to be dropped off or picked up in the parking lot. Students should not walk through the parking lot at all when coming to or leaving from school.

6. Upcoming Dates to Note:

  • September 20 to 27 – October Pizza/Cookie Orders Open on School-Day
  • September 21 – PD Day – No School for Students
  • September 24 – First School Council Meeting (6:00pm in the Library – note NEW time)
  • September 27 – Terry Fox Run
  • September 28 – Picture Day for All Students
  • October 4 – First Pizza/Cookie Day
