Hello Parents,
Here are this week’s updates:
1. Report Cards Go Home Friday, February 15th – Be sure to check your child’s backpack for his/her Term 1 Report Card. If you have questions or concerns, please remember that you can set up a phone or face-to-face interview with your child’s teacher.
2. Monday is Family Day – Monday, February 18th is the Family Day Holiday. The school will be closed that day. We hope you all enjoy a great long weekend!
3. HERO GEM UPDATE – We continue to work on building awareness and skills around Empathy. Ask your child what it means to “put yourself in someone else’s shoes?”
4. Boundary Review – There is currently a Southwest Kitchener Boundary Study underway. The primary purpose of this Boundary Study is to reduce enrolment pressure at Huron Heights Secondary School. Some of the proposed scenarios may affect where our Williamsburg students attend high school. 4. Upcoming Dates to Note
- February 15 – Report Cards Go Home
- February 18 – Family Day Holiday
- February 21 to 28 – March Pizza/Cookie Orders Open on School-Day
- February 25 – School Council Meeting at 6 pm in the Library
- February 27 and 28 – Dental Screening for JK, SK and Grade 2 Students
