Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. Are You Moving? We are already working on developing the school organizations for the 2019-2020 school year. If you are moving out of our school boundary it is important for you to let us know and to ensure that the new school knows. Also, if you know of new families moving into our neighbourhood, please encourage them to come into the school to register children ASAP. Accurate enrolment numbers in the spring help prevent re-organizations in the fall. Thanks for your help!

2. Parenting with Passion at KW Counselling Services has been offering quality parenting programs throughout the Waterloo Region for many years. KW Counselling Services believes that “parenting with passion” means finding and embracing the delights of loving and raising our children with positive parenting attitudes and practices. We further believe that all parents—regardless of circumstance, stressors, skill level, age, life experience or belief system—strive for these joyful moments with their children. 3. HERO GEM UPDATE – April is EFFICACY month! I know what you are thinking… what is efficacy anyway and why are our kids learning about it. Efficacy is a belief in your own ability to produce positive results and achieve your self-defined goals, Believing in your abilities is a key to success! As Henry Ford said, “Whether you think you can or you can’t-you are right”.

Here is our daily affirmation: “At Williamsburg, we show EFFICACY. We know that when we give our best effort and persevere, we get closer to our goals. We always try our best.”
