Hello Parents,
Here are this week’s updates:
1. Little Caesars Fundraiser – Just a reminder that our Little Caesars fundraiser is coming to an end. All orders are due by May 27. Our school wide goal is to sell 300 kits! Thank you for helping to support this fundraiser!
2. School Council Meeting – Our next and final School Council meeting of the year is on Monday, May 27th at 6:00 pm in the school library. Go to wlm.wrdsb.ca/school-council/school-council-agendas-and-minutes/ to see previous meeting agendas and minutes. We would love for you to join us!
3. Lost and Found – Be sure to stop in and take a look through our Lost and Found. It is full of winter clothing items, hoodies, jackets, shoes etc. We’d love for these items to find their way back home!
4. HERO GEM UPDATE – We continue to focus on Hope for the month of May. We encourage you to share stories of success and overcoming adversity with your children.
5. Upcoming Dates to Note:
- May 27 – School Council Meeting at 6:00 pm in the Library
- May 27 – Little Caesars Pizza Kit Fundraising Ends. Please return order forms & money
- May 27 – May 30 – EQAO for grade 3 and 6
- May 30 – “Celebrate Your Culture” Spirit Day
- May 30 – Welcome to Kindergarten Night (for next year’s new Kindergarten students)
- May 31 – PD Day – No school for students
- June 4 – School Track meet at University Stadium (for Junior Students)
- June 5 – Spring Class Photo Day
