December 19th, 2019
Hello Parents,
Here are this week’s updates:
1. Friday is Pajama Day and Stuffie Day – Wear your jammies to school on December 20th and bring your favourite stuffie along too!
2. Food Drive – A huge thank you to our generous Williamsburg staff, students and families! Together we donated 1,368 pounds of food for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region. This means that we collected enough food for a total of 1,069 meals that will go out into our community.
We also want to thank Ms. Mic and her awesome team for coordinating the Food Drive at Williamsburg. We are better together!
3. Our Lost and Found is full and overflowing!: Please encourage your children to take a look for missing items. Any items that have not been picked up by December 20th will be donated.
4. Hero Gems – We continue to focus on Efficacy this month. Remind your child(ren) to take one step at a time. Choose a small positive change you want to make and “go for it”, then repeat.
5. Home Reading Incentive Program – Remember to encourage your child to keep reading every night! We will continue to have draws each month!
