As you are aware, my time at Williamsburg is quickly coming to an end.  My last day at Williamsburg will be this Friday.  February 1st will mark the first day of my retirement and the beginning of what I hope will be “life at a slower pace”.  I am looking forward to spending more time with family and friends, travelling as much as possible and embracing new opportunities that come my way.

The many roles I have had with the Board over my thirty-one year career have been diverse and rewarding.  I have especially enjoyed my last three-and-a-half years at Williamsburg.  I am proud of the staff, students and community and will miss them greatly!

Beginning February 3rd, we will welcome Ms. Liz Anderson who will be taking on the leadership position as Principal here at Williamsburg.  Ms. Anderson is an experienced Principal, presently at Glencairn P.S.  She is looking forward to her new position and working in partnership with Mrs. Peebles our Vice-Principal,  and the current Williamsburg staff to make a seamless transition for our students!

It has been a privilege to be the Principal at Williamsburg P.S.  Thank you for your support and please know that the staff, students and families of Williamsburg will always have a special place in my heart!

Sincerely

Rose Noonan
