Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. Report Cards Go Home Friday, February 19

Parents please check your child’s backpack on Friday for Term 1 Report Cards.  Please sign and return the bottom of the back page along with the report card envelope.

2. Pink Shirt Day for Anti-Bullying – February 24

Students are encouraged to wear pink or their black/pink No Bullying t-shirt on Wednesday, February 24th.  The staff and students recognize that it is extremely important to appreciate everyone in a kind, respectful manner every single day of the year.

3. PA Day – February 26

A reminder to parents that the WRDSB has approved an extra PA Day on Friday, February 26th.  This means that there is no school for students on that day.

4. Volunteers Needed for the Move-a-thon

School Council is looking for volunteers to help with our annual Move-a-thon Fundraiser.  This fundraiser goes towards school yard enhancement and items like agendas and field trips!

Here are a few time slots that are available, if you are able to help with one or more please let Erin Jamieson (eljamieson@yahoo.ca) or the main office know.  Thanks for all your help in making this event a success!

Tuesday March 8th:
– 9:15 -10:15 – counting money and writing prize tickets
– 10:15 – 11:15 – counting money and writing prize tickets

Wednesday, March 9th:
– 9:15 -10:15 – counting money and writing prize tickets
– 10:15 – 11:15 – counting money and writing prize tickets

Thursday March 10th:
– 9:15 -10:15 – counting money and writing prize tickets
– 10:15 – 11:15 – counting  money and writing prize tickets
– 2:00 – 3:00 – Kindergarten Move-a-thon

Friday March 11th:
– 8:30 – 9:00 – set up
– 9:00 – 11:00 – Chaperone and ticket table
– 11:00 – 1:00 – Chaperone and ticket table
-1:00 – 3:00 – Chaperone and ticket table
– 3:00 – 3:30 – Clean up
