Dear Williamsburg School Community,

At this time I would like to share with you some of the upcoming changes in staff for the 2016-2017 school year.

It has been my privilege to be Principal of Williamsburg for the past 4.5 years but sadly I will be leaving at the end of June.
I have always considered myself extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to work along side an amazing group of staff. Williamsburg Staff are some of the most dedicated in all of the WRDSB.  Our Staff gives their “all” in so many ways in order for our students be successful. Our parent community is truly wonderful and has always shown great support to Williamsburg P.S.  Most importantly we have amazing students who make it a pleasure to come to school everyday.  I will miss Williamsburg but leave with wonderful memories.

Beginning in September we will welcome Mrs. Rose Noonan who will be taking on the leadership position as Principal here at Williamsburg.  Mrs. Noonan is an experienced Principal presently at Queen Elizabeth P.S.   Our Vice Principal, Mrs Martin will also be leaving to go to Silverheights P.S. in September.  Mrs. Martin has only been with us a short time but she has made a genuine impact with our staff and students.  We wish her all our very best in her new position.

A very special congratulations is extended to Mrs. Le Boeuf (Gr6) and Mr. Violot (Gr5) who will be retiring at the end of June.
We thank both of these teachers for all of their contributions to Williamsburg School and various Waterloo Region District Schools over the years.  We wish them all the best in their retirement and hope that they take lots of time to rest and relax!

To our wonderful Term Staff who will be leaving us at the end of the year, thank you for your dedication to our students, staff and parents.  You will be missed!
