Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. Pizza/Cookie Orders for NOVEMBER due by Thursday, October 26th – Our next round of Pizza/Cookie orders for November is now open on School-Day.  This ordering period covers the weeks of November 2, 9, 16 and 23 and will be taken on School-Day ONLY from today until Thursday, October 26th. See the How-To-Order Guide below for step by step instructions for ordering.  Call the school office if you have any questions or want to get registered on School-Day – 519-742-1848.

2. Upcoming Dates to Note

  • October 19 – 26 – November Pizza/Cookie Orders Open on School-Day
  • October 23 – School Council Meeting at 6:30 pm in the Library
  • October 26 – Photo Re-take Day
  • October 31 – Wear a costume or black and orange
  • November 4 – Time Change – Clocks go back one hour on Saturday night
  • November 13 – Progress Reports Go Home
  • November 15 – 17 – Book Fair

3. Students Arriving Late / Leaving School Early – A reminder that students coming in late to school are required to come into the main office, sign-in and get a late slip to take to class.

If you need to pick up your child early from school, please be sure to put a message in the planner or communication bag.  This will help ensure students are ready at the office at the appropriate time and will help to minimize classroom interruptions.

Parents/guardians are required to come into the main office to sign their children out before the child can be dismissed from school.

4. Label Everything! – Please label all hats, mitts, coats and hoodies etc. for your children.  It helps us return lost items to their proper owners and helps fewer items go to the lost and found.

5. October 31 – Spirit Day – On October 31st, Williamsburg staff and students can wear a costume or can come dressed in black and orange to show their Williamsburg school spirit.  If your child is coming in costume, please ensure that costumes are school appropriate (no weapons, masks or violent/scary costumes).

  • Log-in to School-Day (https://www.school-day.com/ )
  • Click Products at the top of your Dashboard to see the November Pizza and Cookie Orders. Order Pizza and/or Cookies as you wish adding the items to your cart. Use the drop-down boxes to select the child, week and topping you wish to order. When you are ready to complete your order, click My Cart
  • Click Check Out to pay on-line and complete the payment process
  • If you prefer to pay by cash, click Will Pay By Cash.  Print receipt or make note of the Order Number and send to school with your payment by the order deadline date.  Your order is not complete until payment is received at school
