Hello Parents,

1. Scholastic Book Fair – On Now – Today is the last day for the Book Fair.  Hours today are from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm

2. PD Day  –  Tomorrow, Friday, November 17th is a PD Day which means no school for students.

3. Pizza/Cookie Orders for DECEMBER due by Thursday, November 23rd – Our next round of Pizza/Cookie orders is NOW open on School-Day.  This ordering period covers the weeks of November 30, December 7, 14 and 21 and will be taken on School-Day from today until Thursday, November 23rd. See the How-To-Order Guide below for step by step instructions for ordering.  Call the school office if you have any questions or want to get registered on School-Day – 519-742-1848.

4. School Council Meeting – Join us on Monday, November 20th for our next School Council Meeting. We meet at 6:30pm in the Library.

5. School Council Winter Gear Drive – If you have winter gear in good condition (hats, mitts, boots, snow pants, coats) that your child has outgrown please bring them in to the school Wintergreen Fundraiser Pick-up on November 27 and 28. If you are not picking up a wintergreen order, winter gear can be dropped off at the office on those dates.  They will then be taken to a local school that will put them to good use keeping kids and families warm this winter.

6. Supervision Before School – A reminder that supervision on the school yard before school begins at 8:45 am.  Students should not be here before that time as there is no one to supervise them.

7. Cold Weather – The cold weather has arrived.  Please be sure to dress your children for the weather including coats, snow pants, boots, hats and mitts.  The children will go outside to play at least 2 times each day and need to be warm and dry.

  • November 27/28 – Wintergreen Pick-up Days and Winter Coat and Boot Drive
  • December 6 – Superhero Spirit Day
  • December 11 to 15 – Food Drive
  • December 20 and 21 – Holiday Concerts (More info coming soon)

~ How-To-Order Guide for Pizza/Cookies:

  • Log-in to School-Day – https://www.school-day.com/
  • Click Products at the top of your Dashboard, then click December Pizza Orders.
  • Select each DATE that you wish each child to have pizza using the drop down arrow within this Product and make note of how many slices of pizza and the topping you want for each given week. This ordering period covers 4 Thursdays including November 30, December 7, 14, 21
  • Click add to cart
  • Select the next week from the drop down box
  • Use the drop down box for each of your children as well if you have more than one child that you are ordering for
  • If you wish to order cookies as well, go back to the products tab and Click on December – Cookies Orders and follow the same process as listed above to order pizza
  • Once you have added all your items, click the cart in the the top right corner of your screen to view all your selected items. Take a moment to review your order and make sure that your selections are correct.
  • Click Check Out to pay on-line or click Will Pay By Cash if you prefer to pay with cash. (For cash orders, send in the order number and the EXACT cash amount to school with your child by the order deadline – November 23, 2017. Late orders cannot be accepted.)
  • NOTE: If your child is absent on pizza day, they will miss their order that day. The pizza and cookies will not be saved or re-distributed to friends or siblings.
