Hello Parents,

1. Pizza/Cookie Orders for JANUARY Due December 14th – Pizza/Cookie orders for January are now open on School-Day.  This ordering period covers 3 weeks including: January 11, 18 and 25 and will be taken on School-Day from today until Thursday, December 14th. See the How-To-Order Guide below for step by step instructions for ordering.  Call the school office if you have any questions or want to get registered on School-Day – 519-742-1848.

2. Food Drive – We are so fortunate that Williamsburg is a generous caring community!  During the week of December 11th to 15th the school will be collecting non-perishable items to donate to the Waterloo Region Food Bank.  Please send any donations in with your child during this week.  Items that are most needed are: canned meat and fish, tomato sauce, dried beans, canned stews and chili, pasta, rice, cereal, soup, and canned fruit.  Thank your for supporting our community!

3. Book Fair Update – Way to go Williamsburg Wings! Our Scholastic Book Fair was the most successful one we’ve had in since our school opened! Our total sales reached over $9,000.00 giving us a profit of over $2,000.00 that will go back into our library. Thank you for supporting this literary event.

A special thank you goes to the many volunteers that gave of their time to help run our Book Fair; Sue Lawrence, Gen Brown, Salena Ramlakhan, Beth Karn, Stoja & Alex Lukic, Sarah Mattingley, Vanessa Nicin, Christine Cherrey, Shauna Smith, Ivy Ng, Liene Haruta and Madison Johnston. Without all their help, our Book Fair could not take place.

4. Edge Imaging Update – If you have not yet ordered your child’s fall school photos from Edge Imaging, you still have time to get your order in before the holidays!  Fall photo orders placed by phone at 1-888-416-3343 by Friday, December 8th OR online at www.edgeimaging.ca by Sunday, December 10th will have guaranteed deliver to home before the holidays.

5. Lost and Found – Our Lost and Found is full and overflowing!  Encourage your children to take a look for missing items.  We will set out Lost and Found items for parents to check during our Holiday Concerts on December 20th and 21st.  Any items that have not been picked up by December 21st will be donated.

  • December 20 and 21 – Gr. 1 to 6 Holiday Concerts at Noon
  • December 21 – Kindergarten Holiday Concert at 9:20 am

  • December 23 to January 7 – Christmas Break

~ How-To-Order Guide for Pizza/Cookies:

  • Log-in to School-Day – https://www.school-day.com/
  • Click Products at the top of your Dashboard, then click December Pizza Orders.
  • Select each DATE that you wish each child to have pizza using the drop down arrow within this Product and make note of how many slices of pizza and the topping you want for each given week. This ordering period covers 3 Thursdays including January 11, 18 and 25
  • Click add to cart
  • Select the next week from the drop down box
  • Use the drop down box for each of your children as well if you have more than one child that you are ordering for
  • If you wish to order cookies as well, go back to the products tab and Click on December – Cookies Orders and follow the same process as listed above to order pizza
  • Once you have added all your items, click the cart in the the top right corner of your screen to view all your selected items. Take a moment to review your order and make sure that your selections are correct.
  • Click Check Out to pay on-line or click Will Pay By Cash if you prefer to pay with cash. (For cash orders, send in the order number and the EXACT cash amount to school with your child by the order deadline – December 14th. Late orders cannot be accepted.)
  • NOTE: If your child is absent on pizza day, they will miss their order that day. The pizza and cookies will not be saved or re-distributed to friends or siblings.
