Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. March Pizza and Cookie Orders – Pizza/Cookie orders for March are now open on School-Day.  This ordering period covers the weeks of March 1, 8, 22 and 29.  Orders will be taken on School-Day until Thursday, February 22nd. No late orders will be accepted.  See the How-To-Order Guide at the end of this note for step by step instructions for ordering.  Call the school office if you have any questions – 519-742-1848.

2. Parking Lot Safety – A reminder that the parking lot is never to be used for student drop off and pick up. Our parking lot is for staff only. Last week we had parents that came into the parking lot, and with all of the extra snow, it was a very unsafe situation. For the safety of everyone, do not park in our parking lot.

3. Report Cards Go Home Friday, February 16th – Be sure to check your child’s backpack for his/her Term 1 Report Card.  If you have questions or concerns, please remember that you can set up a phone or face-to-face interview with your child’s teacher.

4. Monday is Family Day
Monday, February 19th is the Family Day Holiday.  The school will be closed that day.  We hope you all enjoy a great long weekend!

~ How-To-Order Guide for Pizza/Cookies:

  • Log-in to School-Day – https://www.school-day.com/
  • Click Products at the top of your Dashboard, then click March – Pizza Orders.
  • Select each DATE that you wish each child to have pizza using the drop down arrow within this Product and make note of how many slices of pizza and the topping you want for each given week. This ordering period covers 4 Thursdays including March 1, 8, 22 and 29.
  • Click add to cart
  • Select the next week from the drop down box
  • Use the drop down box for each of your children as well if you have more than one child that you are ordering for
  • If you wish to order cookies as well, go back to the products tab and Click on March – Cookie Orders and follow the same process as listed above to order pizza
  • Once you have added all your items, click the cart in the the top right corner of your screen to view all your selected items. Take a moment to review your order and make sure that your selections are correct.
  • Click Check Out to pay on-line or click Will Pay By Cash if you prefer to pay with cash. (For cash orders, send in the order number and the EXACT cash amount to school with your child by the order deadline – February 22nd. Late orders cannot be accepted.)
  • NOTE: If your child is absent on pizza day, they will miss their order that day. The pizza and cookies will not be saved or re-distributed to friends or siblings.
