The Williamsburg School Council is a group of parents, caregivers, administration and
staff from the Williamsburg School Community that work together to maximize the
success of our students. All parents and guardians of students within the Williamsburg
Learning Teams are welcome to join.
We hold 6 meetings during the school year that offer both an in-person and online
option for attending. The meetings provide an opportunity to connect with other parents,
caregivers and staff from the Williamsburg community. These meetings include an
update of what students have been doing since the past meeting from the Principal’s
Report. Meetings often include a guest speaker who shares information relevant to
Williamsburg families. Discussion of fundraising opportunities to support specific school
activities occurs at some meetings.
Past fundraising projects have included outdoor equipment for classrooms, mud
kitchens, subsidizing rock climbing or field trip costs, and an outdoor shed.
Our Mabel’s Labels program is ongoing. A 20% commission will be paid to the school
on each order when you choose Williamsburg Public School (Kitchener) from the list of
fundraising groups.
