Hello Parents,

Here are this week’s updates:

1. Poppies for Remembrance Day
Tomorrow, November 11th, we take time to honour and remember our Veterans.
Students at Williamsburg will receive a poppy to wear on November 11th.  Donations to the Poppy Fund are welcome to be sent into school with your child. Thank you for wearing a Poppy and supporting Canada’s Veterans.

5. Notes from the Office
– Arrive On Time: We ask families to ensure that your child arrives on time for school each day.  There is supervision on the playground starting at 8:45 am.  The bell rings at 9:00 am and students need to be at the back of the school and lined up with their class at that time.

– Attendance Line: Please call the attendance line whenever your child/ren will be absent or late for school.  519-570-8146 ext. 3766#

– Early Pick-ups: Call us in the office at 519-742-1848 if you will picking up your child early from school.  We will do our best to have them waiting for you in the office at the arranged pick-up time.

– Parking on Neighbouring Streets: Please be a good neighbor around our school.  If you are parking on the streets near the school, be sure not to block driveways and to follow all posted parking signs.  Thanks so much for helping to keep our children and community safe!

6. School Council Poinsettia Fundraiser – November 14 – 28
Watch your child’s backpack for our School Council Poinsettia Fundraiser Order Form coming home soon. The money generated through this fundraiser will go towards items like school yard enhancements, planners, field trips and more! Your participation in this sale, whether large or small, is greatly appreciated!
