Hello Parents,
Here are this week’s updates:
1. Pizza Orders for November due by Thursday, October 31st – Our next round of Pizza orders for November is now open on School-Day. This ordering period covers the days of November 7, 14, 21, and 28. Orders will be taken ONLY on School-Day from today until Thursday October 31st. No late orders will be accepted. A pink info form was sent home with each student outlining all the Pizza details. See the How-To-Order Guide below for step by step instructions for ordering. Call the school office if you have any questions or want to get registered on School-Day – 519-742-1848.
2. Photo Orders – Photo proofs have now been sent home. You can send your order into the school or you can order online by going to edgeimagaing.ca/order.
3. October 25 PD Day – Please remember that Friday is a PD Day. Staff will be working on our School Improvement Plan. There is NO school for students.
4. Little Caesar Fundraiser – Little Caesar’s Pizza Kits are due tomorrow, Friday October 25, 2019. Since it is a PD Day, we will accept final orders on Monday, October 28th in the morning as well. Just a reminder that this fundraiser is per family not per student. Please make cheques payable to the school. Thank you for helping to support this fundraiser!
5. Children’s Vision Month – October is Children’s Vision Month. Please see the attached information about the Eye See…Eye Learn Program. https://www.school-day.com/pg/file/view/1594140

7. School Council – Join us for our next School Council Meeting on Monday, October 28th at 6:00 pm in the library. Everyone welcome!
8. October 31 – Spirit Day – Students are welcome to wear “an appropriate” costume. If students choose not to wear a costume, they are welcome to wear orange and black or to opt out and just come to school as they normally would – “Dress Like a Student”. (Please remember! No weapons, masks, violent/scary costumes or costumes that are disrespectful to others)
In keeping with our “No Birthday and Special Events Treat Guidelines”, please do NOT send treats to school with your child on Halloween.

November 3 – Fall Time Change. Clocks go back one hour at bedtime.
November 11 – Progress Reports go home
November 12-14 – Book Fair in the library (Nov 12-13 8:30-5:30, Nov 14 8:30-7:00)
November 13 – Fundraiser Pizza Delivery
November 15 – PD Day. No School for Students.
November 15 – Parent – Teacher Interview afternoon
November 25 – School Council meeting 6:00pm

– Log-in to School-Day (https://www.school-day.com/ )
– Click Products at the top of your Dashboard and select November 2019 – Pizza Orders
-Order Pizza as you wish adding the items to your cart. Use the drop-down boxes to select the child, week and topping you wish to order. When you are ready to complete your order, click My Cart
– Click Check Out to pay on-line and complete the payment process
– If you prefer to pay by cash, click Will Pay By Cash. Print receipt or make note of the Order Number and send to school with your payment by the order deadline date. Please provide exact change as we cannot provide change in the office. Your order is not complete until payment is received at school
